On Sunday, April 11, 2010, H.E. Mr. George Petalotis, Assistant Minister to the Greek Prime Minister and Government Spokesperson, was cordially received by and lunched with His All Holiness at the Phanar. Mr Petalotis was accompanied by his family and Mr. Vassilios Bornovas, Greek Consul General at Istanbul. Speaking to the media, Mr. Petalotis underscored his deep respect for the Mother Church of Constantinople and the Ecumenical Patriarch.
