Your Excellency Nino Burjanadze, Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia, our beloved in the Lord: Grace be to you and peace from God.

We would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank Your Excellency for receiving us and our entourage during our recent visit to your most noble country of Georgia.

It was a great joy for us to participate in the celebrations for the 30th anniversary of the enthronement of our beloved brother in Christ, His Beatitude and Holiness Elias II, Archbishop of Mtskheta and Tbilisi and Catholicos Patriarch of all Georgia, and we will remember the occasion fondly.

We also wholeheartedly thank Your Excellency once again for hosting for us such a wonderful reception, with the presence of so many distinguished individuals, and also for your accompaniment to the airport during our departure.

Offering Your Excellency our patriarchal blessings and prayers, we invoke upon you the abundant grace and infinite love of Almighty God.

At the Patriarchate, 3 November 2007

Your Excellency’s fervent supplicant before God,
