His All-Holiness meets privately with Pope Francis and represents religious communities at papal reception

His All-Holiness met in private with Pope Francis on Wednesday, March 20, 2013, where he invited the Pope to commemorate and celebrate the 50th anniversary of the restoration of relations between the Roman Catholic and Orthodox Churches, which occurred in Jerusalem between Patriarch Athenagoras and Pope Paul VI. Later, in a formal reception in honor of the church and religious leaders by Pope Francis, His All-Holiness represented the christian and faith communities in a special address to the Pope.
