His All-Holiness in Imvros for Holy Week and Pascha

LIVE BROADCAST FROM IMVROS: His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew in Imvros for Pascha -- for the first time in 22 years -- Services to be broadcast live by Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation (ERT)

For the first time in 22 years, His All-Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew will not preside over Holy Week and Pascha services at the Patriarchal Church of St. George at the Phanar. Instead, he will be on his native island of Imvros, where he will preside over services in the Metropolitan Cathedral of Imvros and in his home village of Sts. Theodores. He will be assisted by Metropolitan Kyrillos of Imvros and Tenedos as well as Metropolitan Athenagoras of Kydonies.

2 May, Holy Thursday:  (17.00-20.00) Live broadcast of the Service of the Holy Passion at the Cathedral Church of the Dormition of the Theotokos in Imvros

3 May, Holy Friday: (18.00-21.00) Live broadcast of the Service of the Holy Epitaphios (Lamentations) at the Church of Sts. Theodores in Imvros

4 May, Holy Saturday: (23.00-00.30) Live broadcast of the Midnight Resurrection Service at the Church of Sts. Theodores in Imvros

5 May, SUNDAY OF PASCHA: (11.00-13.00) Live broadcast of the Resurrection (Agape) Vespers at the Cathedral Church of the Dormition of the Theotokos in Imvros
